ISSE Services Achieves CMMC Level 2 Certification

ELK GROVE, CA, UNITED STATES, April 4, 2025 — ISSE Services, a leading Woman-Owned Small Business and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), has officially earned its Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2—marking a major milestone in the company’s commitment to defense-grade cybersecurity. This certification places ISSE Services among the first MSSPs in the country to meet the Department of Defense’s (DoD) rigorous standards for safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
To achieve this certification, ISSE Services underwent an extensive assessment led by a Certified Third-Party Assessor Organization (C3PAO). The evaluation confirmed the company’s successful implementation of all 110 required security controls across 14 critical domains—ranging from incident response and risk management to access control and secure communications.
